Facing bricks are used for a house face-work. They are exposed to a direct environmental impact and have very high quality standards for the look, frost-resistance, water absorption and strength. Facing bricks are not the cheapest facing material, however, it pays back in long term. A brick wall will stand more than hundred years, with precondition, that the house is accurately built. For instance, to keep a nice look of a decorative facing, it should be refreshed after each 10-15 years. Facing brick is a natural, strong and fire safe material. Lode’s bricks differ in a colour and surface relief.
Mechanical strength = 30 N/mm2; Water absorbency = 7%; Frost resistance cycles = 50-100; Volume mass = 1,56 g/cm3.
